About

Scene 01 — Bio
Maya Cryor headshot

Maya Cryor is a Los Angeles-based creator, writer, and actor building her career from the inside out. She started on the production side of some of the industry's most recognized comedy sets — Dave Chappelle's Netflix specials, BET's Martin: Reunion, and CBS's The Neighborhood — learning how a show gets built from the ground up.

That vantage point became the foundation for her own work. She co-created, wrote, and acted in IN LIVING COLOR 2.0 and the Kickstarter-funded THE HYPE.

Maya is positioning herself for acting and writing roles with a rare advantage: she's already watched the best in the business make the thing — and now she's ready to be in the frame.
